Closing & Locking The Pledge Manager
We are going to close & lock the pledge manager on March 15th. You must have your address correct in the Pledge Manager by that date. You will not be able to make a Late Pledge after that date. We will deliver to the address on file as of that date.
Credit Cards on file with BackerKit will be charged the week following.
Fulfillment Plan
This campaign should begin fulfillment in May so make sure the details are up. to date. If a payment cannot be processed, we will not be able to ship the game to you.

Champions of Thunderstone!
We are pleased to announce that BackerKit is hosting the Pledge Manager for the Deepwood Defenders campaign and it is now ready for your use. Your order data has been imported into BackerKit from Kickstarter. You will receive an email from BackerKit with a link to your order in the next several hours.
Completing Your Order
To receive your Reward you must visit BackerKit and complete the checkout process for your order. You will be able to see the shipping & handling and taxes charged for your order and arrange payment. If you want to change your Reward, or include add-ons with your Reward you will be able to alter your order at this time and make those changes.
Paying for Your Order
BackerKit charges PayPal payments immediately. For credit card payments, BackerKit allows us to determine when we will charge your credit card. Typically we wait and do that about 6-8 weeks before we fulfill orders; you will be emailed notice that your credit card will be charged when that process is about to begin. Until then, you do not need to contact us about payment.
Refunds
If you believe that the total cost of your order with shipping & tax included is unreasonable, contact us now and we will issue a full 100% refund. After June 17th you can still request a refund but we will only return 92% of your Kickstarter payment - the remainder is lost to unrecoverable Kickstarter fees. To request a refund, email [email protected] and provide the email address used on your pledge on Kickstarter.
AppleID Users
If you use AppleID to access Kickstarter, and you elected to have Apple hide your email, the email address that we (and BackerKit) get from Kickstarter is useless. You will not receive any communication from BackerKit. To fix this problem please email [email protected], provide us with the name you use on Kickstarter and a valid email address and we will manually reset the email on your order in BackerKit.
Group Buys, Bulk Orders, Retailers, etc.
If you are a brick & mortar retail store, you can request to join the Alpha Store program and you can use that program to order Thunderstone Quest products via our online store (NOT BackerKit) [please note: Thunderstone Quest items will be added for Alpha Store orders in a few weeks]. For all others, you can order in multiple units via the Pledge Manager. We do not offer discounts but you will save a little bit on shipping if you order multiple units at the same time.
What To Do If You Have A Problem
Didn't receive an email for your order in BackerKit? Don't understand how to use a Pledge Manager? If you have any issues please email [email protected]. That is the fastest, best way to get help.
Ongoing Communication
From now until the delivery of the Rewards in May of 2023, we will periodically Update the campaign with information on progress. You will receive these Updates via email, and when major milestones are achieved you will also receive a Kickstarter Update.
Typically our cadence of production is that we will begin the first milestone, which is the turnover of the project from development to our production team in about 4 months; after that, it will take 6-8 months to produce the Rewards, and about 2 months for the Rewards to be shipped from China to depots around the world, and then to your homes.

Thanks to all who backed the campaign this year!
We are very excited to bring you Deepwood Defenders, and the updated Starter Set!
What happens next?
- Kickstarter will charge your credit card in the next few days. If your card fails, Kickstarter will retry it several times in the following week
- The Pledge Manager will open as soon as it has completed setup with BackerKit. We expect it to go live next week (starting Monday the 30th) but it may take a few days. We will post an Update when the Pledge Manager goes live.
- We'll Update you periodically over the next year when the campaign hits a major milestone. The next major milestone will be when we begin the production process by approving files; that will happen several months from now.
- Please visit alderac.com/kickstarter for the most up to date info on this and all our campaigns; that site is your best source for progress information and anything else you need to know about the campaign and we update it every time we have any new information to report.
You will be sent an email from the Pledge Manager (BackerKit) with a link to access your order. Use that link to complete the checkout process. You can change your Reward, and include add-ons with your Reward. The system will calculate the amount due for shipping & tax and present you with a final total at checkout.
BackerKit does NOT charge credit cards at the checkout step. It does process PayPal payments immediately. For people paying by credit card, we will charge your card in the future; we'll email you to let you know when we will be running those credit card charges before we do so.
APPLE ID USERS: Please note - if you use your Apple ID to access Kickstarter and you chose to have Apple hide your email, the email address we receive from Kickstarter is useless. Neither we, nor the Pledge Manager can contact you via email about your order. Please email [email protected] for assistance if you have your account configured in this manner.
At any time if you have questions, concerns or comments please email [email protected]. We will monitor the Comments channel periodically but the best way to get a response from our team after the campaign ends is via email.
